Reconciliation without erasure.
Hashlamah is a Jewish-rooted project for Jewish–Muslim reconciliation, historical memory, grassroots community care, and conflict resolution—rooted in Eretz Yisrael Hashlemah while also serving communities across the world wherever Jewish–Muslim healing is urgently needed.
Completion. Reconciliation. Making whole.
Hashlamah comes from the same Semitic field as shalom. In the Project it means more than an absence of violence: it means reconciliation, completion, rebalancing, and the work of making relationships whole.
That is why the name also points toward Eretz Yisrael Hashlemah and an Ummah Wāḥidah federal horizon: one sovereign federal state composed of constitutionally protected constituent states and regions, joined by covenant, shared institutions, equal citizenship, and reciprocal responsibility rather than conquest or forced displacement. At the same time, Hashlamah is not only about one region. It is also a practical framework for healing, mediation, and conflict transformation wherever Jewish and Muslim communities need those tools now more than ever.
Distinct communities. Real encounter.
Hashlamah does not ask Jews to become less Jewish or Muslims to become less Muslim. It rejects both shallow dialogue that avoids every hard question and religious hybridization that dissolves the traditions into something else.
Instead, the Project draws on historical Jewish–Muslim encounter, Judeo-Sufi precedent, the Constitution of Medina, source-based study, and direct community relationships.
Healing begins with encounter.
This image captures something central to Hashlamah: Jews and Muslims do not need to erase their differences in order to meet one another seriously, respectfully, and as equals.
Study, sacred literacy, and human encounter are not decorative extras. They are part of the method. Hashlamah builds spaces where Jewish and Muslim communities can learn, speak honestly, repair memory, and practice conflict resolution without surrendering their own traditions.
That work is needed in Eretz Yisrael Hashlemah, but it is also needed all over the world—wherever Jewish and Muslim communities are living with fear, estrangement, inherited trauma, propaganda, or broken trust.
